Board News
This fall, we’ve said farewell to two longstanding members of CEDAC’s Board of Directors: Susan Schlesinger and Beth Ann Strollo.
After 14 years of serving on the CEDAC Board, Susan, who was first appointed to the Board by Governor Mitt Romney in November 2003, has stepped down from her role as a Director. She has been a strong leader in helping to guide CEDAC both on the policy and project levels. Her deep experience in affordable housing development and finance contributed to her positive and important contributions, and her passion for CEDAC’s mission and the organizations and community residents impacted by our work is what makes her great.
Beth Ann Strollo has also stepped down from CEDAC’s Board. For the last nine years, Beth Ann has represented Massachusetts’ network of community action programs (CAP). Her experience working with low-income families at Quincy Community Action Program, and interest in and strong commitment to serving families and children has been a wonderful contribution to the work of both CEDAC and the Children’s Investment Fund.
We thank both Susan and Beth Ann for their distinguished service and leadership over the years.
Sharon Scott-Chandler and Melissa Fetterhoff have been appointed by Governor Baker as the new members of CEDAC’s Board. Sharon serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of ABCD, the CAP serving the city of Boston. Melissa is the President/CEO of the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce.
